1. Provider and contact
Altomat is provided by Martin Kučera, Družstevní 705/IV, 503 51 Chlumec nad Cidlinou, Czech Republic, Company ID 00959324, registered in the Trade Register maintained by the Municipality of Hradec Králové (the “Provider”). The Provider is not registered for Czech VAT as of the effective date.

2. Business-only service and contract formation
By registering, the customer confirms that it acts as a business or legal entity in the course of its trade or profession and that the person registering is authorised to bind it. The Provider does not contract with consumers.
The contract is formed when registration and acceptance of these Terms are completed. The Provider may request evidence of business identity and restrict the account until verification. The service is technically available worldwide where its use is lawful in the customer's jurisdiction.
3. Service and responsibility for output
Altomat uses artificial intelligence to generate draft alternative text for images and supports review and transfer to WordPress. Output is an automated suggestion, not professional, legal, SEO or certified accessibility advice.
The customer must review every output before publication, including factual accuracy, context and potentially discriminatory or misleading statements. The Provider does not guarantee search ranking or full website compliance with accessibility standards.
4. Account and security
- The customer provides accurate and current identification and contact details.
- The customer protects credentials, API keys and member permissions and promptly reports incidents to support.
- The customer is responsible for persons it authorises to access its account or WordPress installation.
- The Provider may temporarily restrict an account due to a security incident, abuse, unpaid amount or breach of these Terms.
5. Credits and prices
Credits are purchased as one-off packages at the price displayed in the public pricing page when ordered. There is no automatically renewing subscription. One successfully generated ALT text consumes 10 credits; a failed request does not consume credits or the credits are automatically restored.
Credits cannot be transferred outside the customer's account, are not electronic money and cannot be exchanged for cash except under section 7. Unused credits expire 24 months after purchase or earlier when the relevant account or project ends.
6. Payments and tax information
Payment is made by bank transfer, normally using a QR code containing the price and customer-specific variable symbol. Credits are added after the incoming payment is reliably matched, initially manually and automatically once bank integration is enabled.
The Provider is not registered for Czech VAT as of the effective date; the displayed price is therefore the total amount charged by the Provider unless an order states otherwise. Tax treatment may change by law. Each party remains responsible for its own tax and registration obligations, particularly for cross-border transactions.
7. Refund of unused credits
After customer-requested closure, the customer may request a refund of unused, unexpired credits. Their value is calculated proportionally from the price actually paid for the relevant package, with the oldest credits treated as consumed first.
A CZK 250 administration fee is deducted and the payout cannot be negative. The fee does not apply to duplicate payment, a demonstrated Provider error or where mandatory law prohibits it. After verification, refunds are paid to the originating bank account unless another secure arrangement is agreed.
8. Customer content, licence and prohibited use
The customer retains rights in its images, instructions and content and grants the Provider a non-exclusive licence during the contract to process them only as needed to provide and secure the service. The customer may use outputs to the extent permitted by law and acknowledges that AI outputs may not be unique.
- The customer must not process unlawful or harmful content, content infringing third-party rights, or content for which it lacks a lawful basis.
- Special-category data, children's data and highly sensitive imagery may be submitted only where the customer has a valid legal basis and the service is suitable for that purpose.
- Circumventing limits, disrupting the service, testing another account without authority or using the service to develop a harmful system is prohibited.
9. Availability, changes and support
The Provider aims to operate a secure and available service but supplies no paid SLA unless agreed in writing. Maintenance, supplier outages or security incidents may cause temporary restrictions. Support is available at support@alt-popisky.cz within a reasonable time based on severity.
The Provider may reasonably change the service for security, legal or product reasons. A change will not remove paid credits without fair reason. Material changes to the Terms will be announced in advance in the application or by email.
10. Termination and deletion
The customer may terminate at any time through its account or by emailing support@alt-popisky.cz. The Provider may terminate for a material or repeated breach, abuse, legal or security risk, or discontinuation of the service and will allow a reasonable cure or export period where circumstances permit.
Operational account data will then be deleted or anonymised under the Privacy Policy. Accounting, payment, security and other records that must be retained by law or are needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain restricted for the necessary period.
11. Liability
Each party is liable for loss caused by its breach. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, unreviewed AI output, incorrect WordPress configuration or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider's aggregate service-related liability is capped at the fees paid by the customer in the 12 months before the event. The cap does not apply where prohibited by mandatory law, including intentional misconduct and other mandatorily protected claims.
12. Personal data
The Privacy Policy describes processing for which the Provider is controller. Where the Provider processes personal data in customer images or instructions on the customer's behalf, the DPA linked below forms part of the contract.
13. Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by Czech law without its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first seek an amicable solution through info@alt-popisky.cz; otherwise the competent courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. Mandatory rules applicable regardless of the choice of law remain unaffected.
14. Final terms
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. The current version and effective date appear above. This text is not individual legal advice to the customer.
